Replacing your rack rollers is a very easy and straightforward repair. If you find that your dish rack roller doesn’t glide smoothly, it may be time to replace it.
For most dishwashers, the lower rack can be pulled out completely. The upper racks are fitted with a stopper.
Step 1: To replace the rollers on your upper rack use a flathead screwdriver to release the bags.
Step 2: Pull the rack off the frame to expose the rollers.
Step 3: Remove the rack rollers. For some dishwasher models you may need to use a Phillips head screwdriver to pull off the rollers, others have small hooks that need to be pulled to detach them from the rack.
Step 4: Set the new rollers on the dishwasher rack then lock into place.
Lots of handy tips, including our step-by-step guide on loading your dishwasher the right way and troubleshooting common dishwasher problems.
