How to maintain your LG CordZero vacuum cleaner

Regular filter maintenance will extend the life of your LG Cord zero vacuum cleaner and ensure it performs at its best. Over time, dirt builds up on the filters inside your vacuum. The metal filter, cloth pre-filter and fine dust filter in the handstick can all be removed and washed in water to clean dirt away. LG recommends cleaning the filters once a month for best cleaning performance.

To clean the pre-filter and exhaust filter on your LG CordZero vacuum, you will need to:

1. Remove pre-filter by turning the outer exhaust filter counter clockwise to remove it. Lift out the pre-filter by the handle.
2. Clean the motor using the brush attachment to clean off the motor inside the filter compartment. It is important that this is done with the brush only, do not use any water.
3. Clean the exhaust filter with a brush or running water. Allow the exhaust filter to completely dry by reinstalling the filter. We recommend waiting 24 hours.
4. Wash and dry filter by cleaning the pre-filter with a brush and running water. The more often the filters are cleaned, the more optimal the suction power of the vacuum cleaner.
5. Once all filters are clean and dry you can reassemble. Reassemble the pre-filter first. Then align the exhaust filter with the hollow circle at the top and turn the filter clockwise until the solid white circles align.
6. Lastly clean your dustbin. Empty and clean the dustbin and remove and clean the cyclonic mesh filter also.

What can you do if your vacuum cleaner has lost suction?
