The Philips LOR liquid descaler is currently unavailable from Philips but as an alternative we can recommend RL1120
The whole 250ml of Phillips descaler is for one clean, pouring it into the water tank and then filling the tank up with fresh water. Then run the whole tank through the machine. The Aktivo concentrated 100% organic cleaner directions are to mix one cap full of cleaner ( 30ml ) with one litre of water in the tank and flush through. A 425ml bottle is very economic to use as it provides 14 doses
